Men Care About Their Hair, Too

It's interesting. Often women think that men have it so much easier when it comes to their hair and some assume that men just don't care about what's on top of their head, whether that's going gray prematurely or losing their hair from a receding hairline or bald spots. In my experience, this is far from the truth. Not only do we see that men's hair trends matter (man bun, anyone?), but that not all men are okay with going bald or doing a buzz cut when their hair begins thinning. Yes, some men care very much about keeping their hair and having a look that makes them feel bold and confident!

Thinning hair or hair loss can occur in men or women, which can be temporary or permanent depending of many different factors. Let's take a look at the numbers:

Two-thirds of American men experience significant hair thinning by age 35, and by age 50, the percentage of men with significantly thinner hair increases to 85%.

Thinning hair and hair loss can be a normal part of aging or may be due to other causes. Age also makes hair finer over time.

A person may notice hair loss or thinning when looking in the mirror, such as a widening parting or receding hairline, seeing extra hairs on a comb or brush or changes in how your hairstyle usually looks on a day-to-day basis.

If you’re in this group or if you are a woman with thinning hair then Scalp Micropigmentation is an ideal solution to dramatically increase not only your hair’s perceived density, but also your overall level of confidence. If you don’t want to go for the closely shaved look, Scalp Micropigmentation increases fullness to your existing head of hair.

Hereditary or androgenic alopecia occurs most often in men and is more commonly known as “male pattern baldness.” Scalp Micropigmentation provides a long lasting, maintenance-free and affordable solution for male pattern baldness. Many other factors can cause or lead to thinning hair as well such as stress or emotional problems, cancer treatments, some hair styles, thyroid problems, pregnancy, medication, poor diet or aging.
